The Employment Permit System (EPS) office is taking the exam of the Korean Language Test (KLT) on 2068-4-6/7 (2011) in different institutions, colleges and so on.

EPS-KLT TOPIK -2068 in Nepal, exam centers for the exam which was scheduled to held on 2068-4-6/7 (2011) has been published today. According to the source, the result of EPS-KLT TOPIK -2068 (2011 )in Nepal will be published as soon as possible after the completion of the exam.

As per EPS rules, the first step for employment in South Korea is the Korean Language Test followed by a stringent medical test.Now, migrant workers are required to enter South Korea through EPS. The majority of Nepalis are assigned to the manufacturing and agriculture sectors while a few are employed in hotels. Around 7,000 Nepalis are working in South Korea and 4,000 have been hired under the EPS. Nepali migrant workers from South Korea are sending around Rs 4 billion in remittance. Human Resource Department South Korea is hiring two more batches in the current month.

According to the contract between the two countries, after receiving HRD-Korea’s final letter with the names of job aspirants, the department begins sending them to Korea. The name-list that HRD-Korea sent will be according to the CCVI list. South Korea is hiring Nepali workers in manufacturing, agriculture and fishery sectors under EPS since August 2008.

South Korea is a destination for Nepali workers with a monthly income of $ 1,000, which is five times more than other popular destinations like the Gulf and Malaysia.

Around 7,000 Nepalis are working in South Korea and 4,000 have been hired under the EPS. Nepali migrant workers from South Korea are sending around Rs 4 billion in remittance. Human Resource Department South Korea is hiring two more batches in the current month.

No longer after the Police arrested two lawmakers of the Constituent Assembly (CA) Bishwonath Prasad Yadav and Gayatri Shah over the diplomatic passport misuse, again two CA menmbers have been arrested for misusing and selling their diplomatic red passport.

The CPN-UML CA member Naradmuni Rana and Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Nepal CA member Shiv Pujan Rai Yadav have sold their diplomatic red passports, according to the different reports including police report. The persons who had purchased the passports of the two CA members are currently in Australia, it is reported quoting Australian Embassy in Kathmandu and Police Authorities.

In the case filed under the Passport Act-1967, both lawmakers have have been made defendants for tampering and misusing their diplomatic passports. Under this section if found guilty both will be entitled to one years imprisonment or up to Rs 500 fine or both.

The office of Examination Controller, Sanothimi Bhaktapur has scheduled to start the SLC supplemenatary exam 2068 from 23rd Sharwan 2068.
Those students failed in one or two subjects will get chance to take exam and take a golden chance to pass this year, examination controller Surya Prasad Gautam said. But in case of students failed in three or more than three subjects have to wait till next year.

The office of the contoller of Examination, Sanothimi Bhaktapur has stated that the marksheet and provisional certificate will be sent somehow late within 15 days of the result held date.
EXamination controller Surya Prasad Gautam told to the reporters that students will get provisional along with Marksheet now, which is the first attempt of the office since it started to take SLC EXam.
